Look, I get it. As much as we love singing along to “How Far I’ll Go” from Disney’s MOANA, it’s been nearly two years since the film came out, and you might be craving something new from the heroine’s voice actor, Auli’i Cravalho. While yes, there are also the songs she performed on NBC’s RISE, even that is in limited supply due to the show’s cancellation after one season.
Well now, fans of Cravalho have a new song from her to sing along to that is sure to bring up anyone who needs a little lift, called “Live Your Story”. The song was created for the Dream Big Princess campaign from the Disney Princess brand, as a way of encouraging kids to dream without limits.
In the accompanying music video for the song, Cravalho is seen struggling to write her own music, before going off into a portal world where she gathers inspiration from several Disney princesses and heroines such as Tiana from THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, Merida from BRAVE, Ariel from THE LITTLE MERMAID, and Belle from BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.
It’s refreshing to hear a new tune from the beloved actor and singer, as her voice soars heavenly in tune with the pop track. Hopefully there will soon be more where that came from, as Cravalho’s future continues to look radiant as ever.
